About the role:
Operating within National School of Theology, as a Lecturer (Religious Education), you will deliver high quality and innovative teaching and learning, through the delivery and development of lectures, tutorials and other classes within School of Theology at undergraduate, honours and/or graduate levels. You will contribute to, and provide excellence and innovation in curriculum, content design and enhance our supportive, inclusive and effective learning environments, including the practical application of effective support to students.
You will demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour consistent with the university's Mission and values and Code of Conduct for All Staff; demonstrating a commitment to performance excellence and continuous improvement. You will demonstrate understanding of the university's Catholic Identity and Mission and how it applies to academic work by contributing to the integration of principles of social justice, the pursuit of truth and care for the common good in all areas of academic activity relevant to the teaching focussed academic career pathway.

What we offer:

- Total remuneration valued to $138,750 - $163,685 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $117,246 - $138,429 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
