About the role:

As the Senior Data Analyst, you'll assist with the completion of funded research projects by providing statistical research data support, including cleaning of data and the analysis of large-scale and longitudinal survey data, qualitative data, meta-analyses, systematic reviews and preparation of research project reports. You will oversee and manage the data management of project data collected across the Institute. The position will also provide assistance with grant applications, literature reviews and provide support for general Centre Institute administrative activities.

More specifically the role entails:

  • High level analysis and collation of statistical research data using basic structural equation modelling programs such as SPSS, MLM, LISREL, R, MPlus and AMOS.
  • Clean and analyse quantitative and qualitative research data and collate data to prepare statistical research project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct meta-analyses and systematic reviews and progress write-up of reviews for publication.
  • Attend and contribute to research progress meetings with team members, providing updates and driving progress on scheduled data analysis.
  • Provide training to staff members and students across the research institute on data analysis techniques.

  • Total remuneration valued to $117,590 - $127,214 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $99,365 - $107,498 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
