About the role:

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is one the major courses at The School of Allied Health at Australian Catholic University. We are seeking to appoint an Academic either at Level D / Level C in Occupational Therapy to make significant contribution in the development and implementation of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at their Canberra campus and contribute to research relevant to the field of occupational therapy. Working closely with the Head of Discipline Occupational Therapy, the Victorian, NSW and QLD Occupational Therapy Course Coordinators, National Course Coordinator and other occupational therapy staff, you will ensure that the implementation of the National program of Occupational Therapy is comprehensively managed on the Canberra campus. As a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy, you will supervise honours students and develop a research profile relevant to occupational therapy. As an Associate Professor you will lead and develop a research and scholarship culture in occupational therapy and the School of Allied Health, making an important contribution to the establishment of the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy on the Canberra campus.

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $190,982 - $210,230(pro rata) pa, including salary component $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • Total remuneration valued to $168,512 - $182,954(pro rata) pa, including salary component $142,625 - $154,969 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
