About the role:

Our Student Administration Directorate is currently seeking to recruit a Project Manager to manage wide variety of projects and changes related to business in allotted projects. Supporting the day-to-day management and delivery of project deliverables, which will assist the University in delivering administrative projects. You will lead the project progress, oversee budget and risk, utilising best practice project and change management methodologies to deliver set objectives. In this role, you will work collaboratively with service areas across the university, to understand current and future structures, service management, practices and processes.

More specifically the role entails:

  • Lead and manage projects effectively to deliver the agreed project outcomes on time and to budget to achieve the universities strategic goals.
  • Develop, manage and action comprehensive project plans and associated documentation in consultation with key stakeholders.
  • Review and update project plans to reflect the agreed scope and approach, and refine governance arrangements to ensure effective oversight and delivery of key outcomes.
  • Identify, manage and resolve business risks, issues and conflicts for the project
  • Lead and provide effective leadership to the Project team.

  • Total remuneration valued to $151,211 - $161,352(pro rata) pa, including salary component $127,838 - $136,506 (pro rata) pa (HEW 9), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
