About the role:

The Plunkett Centre is an innovative ethics institute that works on the interface of the university and health sectors and provides high level ethics support for Catholic health and aged care services. We currently have a continuing, part-time opportunity for a Project Officer to join our team based at our North Sydney campus and act as an advisor to the Director, Plunkett Centre for Ethics (PCE). In this role, you will lead and coordinate projects focused on educational offerings for our partners in the Catholic health sector. You will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of PCE's communications strategy with responsibility for communications, marketing and event management.

More specifically the role entails:

  • Designing and coordinating a series of modules/ workshops to improve literacy in Catholic ethics for key stakeholders in the Catholic health sector.
  • Managing the Plunkett Centre's social media platform and email communications.
  • Contributing to and coordinating the production of podcasts, videos, newsletters, blogs and other educational content for dissemination to stakeholders.

  • Total remuneration valued to $117,590 - $127,214(pro rata) pa, including salary component $99,365 - $107,498 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
