About the role:

ACU North Sydney Campus currently has an amazing opportunity for a Technology Support Officer to provide onsite desktop and audio-visual support to our staff and students. Under the broad direction of the National Manager, Campus Services or National Manager, you will deliver a client focused experience using service management tools, processes, and reporting, to support the University community and audio-visual enabled spaces.

The primary focus of the role is the remote day-to-day support of technology and IT services used by staff, students and University visitors that form part of the ACU Information Technology environment.

Your strong communication skills and specialist technical knowledge will be crucial in understanding the technical problems to triage and resolve service requests and provide advice and solutions. In this position, you will be required to work rostered hours which may include after hours and nominated weekend support.

More specifically the role entails:

  • Providing on-campus IT support for staff and students.
  • Fulfilling and logging tickets on ServiceNow our service management platform.
  • Providing technical assistance for Crestron and other audio visual technology within our teaching spaces and meeting rooms.

  • Total remuneration valued to $95,827 - $103,735(pro rata) pa, including salary component $80,975 - $87,658 (pro rata) pa (HEW 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
