About the role:

As the Future Students Officer, you'll be responsible for supporting recruitment efforts to promote the University in the local and regional areas where ACU's campuses are based to facilitate high quality applications from prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as supporting the wider team on national initiatives. Working closely with the local and regional Future Students Leads, colleagues in national Future Students team, Marketing and External Relations, faculties and relevant offices such as First Peoples and Equity Pathways, you'll assist with the delivery of prospective student communications, lead generation, and innovative engagement activities to attract and convert prospective students and influencers. Forming and nurturing relationships with the high school community, including Careers Advisers, teachers and Principals will be an important aspect of the role. Involvement in future student programs, activities and events will involve direct contact with children. Some flexibility in working hours is required to attend events and activities held outside standard business hours and at offsite locations. Some local and interstate travel may be required.

More specifically the role entails:

  • Delivering school engagement and student recruitment activities, including the delivery of school presentations and webinars.
  • supporting the delivery of major events such as career expos and open days.
  • developing school communications such as newsletters and EDM's.
  • support event and activity logistics.
  • Internal and external stakeholder enquiry management.
  • activity reporting including the use of a CRM.

  • Total remuneration valued to $95,827 - $103,735 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $80,975 - $87,658 (pro rata) pa (HEW 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
