About the role:

We are looking for an experienced learning and development professional, passionate about what they do, loves working in a team and who enjoys a mix of strategic and operational activities.

As Manager, Learning and Development, you will lead the delivery of learning and development at ACU. You will be responsible for managing a small and highly engaged team of learning and development specialists to support building workforce capability and acting as a strategic partner to the university. You will:

  • Be accountable for the design, delivery and enhancement of the learning and development program.
  • Deliver key strategic priorities and programs of work aligned to key workforce drivers including a revised leadership program for professional and academic staff and a fit for purpose L&D curriculum for our workforce.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including external learning and development providers to build and support learning and development outcomes.
  • Lead the learning and development team.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing learning and development advice across ACU
  • Ensure the learning and development program is modern, contemporary, and meets the needs of both professional and academic staff

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $151,211 - $161,352, employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
