About the role:

We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Project Officer to collaborate closely with our Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) to coordinate the day-to-day functions of the office and support a range of varied project initiatives across the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous) and broader Education Portfolio. A crucial element of your role will be to provide logistical support, draft communications and prepare various committee submissions to progress key priorities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, staff and communities. Key to your success will be in your commitment to reconciliation and working and engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strat Islander peoples.

What we offer:

  • Total remuneration valued to $117,590 - $127,214 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $99,365 - $107,498 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
