About the role:

We currently have an opportunity for a Sitecore Fullstack Developer to join our team either at Sydney or Melbourne campus and showcase their technical expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing, documenting, and developing the technical aspects of ACU's Marketing and External Relations (MERs) customer business and data requirements. You will have an opportunity to work with stakeholders, end users, project team members and suppliers to develop or recommend software solutions appropriate to their needs.

Your strong expertise will see you advise and consult with business system owners and the broader IT Directorate to ensure the products and enhancements meet maximum benefits and returns in accordance with established University standards and industry best practices. You will play a key role in providing broad oversight and technical capability spanning across the core Sitecore platform for ACU and will work directly with other members of the Application and Integration Services team and various IT and business stakeholders to deliver project outcomes, identify potential opportunities for performance, security and overall optimisation improvement (including deployment and maintenance automation); as well as assist in incident, problem, configuration, change management and serve as an escalation point in support.

More specifically the role entails:

  • Strong hands-on experience working in a senior role, 6+ years experience developing applications on the Sitecore Platform (10 and above preferred).
  • Proven experience with current web and development related technologies, frameworks and methodologies (e.g. MVC technology, SSL, .NET, PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (and other frameworks React, Angular).
  • Experience in end-to-end solution delivery from requirements discovery, through to support hand-over.
  • Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft .Net technology, particularly C# and ASP.Net with MS SQL Database Server, MS Microsoft Reporting, Integration Services and interoperable RESTful APIs.

  • Total remuneration valued to $130,436 - $145,816 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $110,220 - $123,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
