About the role:

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Theology, you will contribute academic expertise to the School of Theology, Faculty of Theology and Philosophy, to ensure excellence in teaching and learning in Catholic social thought and Catholic theology, while undertaking and leading research in the field. 

You will also contribute to the mission of the school, faculty and university through teaching, research, academic administration, curriculum development, program coordination and work collaboratively across the university and with external partners.

The preferred candidate will need to be willing to apply for a Mandatum to teach in Theology and Religious Education disciplines per the requirements of Ex Corde Ecclesiae.

An interest in and ability to teach into the women's leadership for mission program is desirable.

What we offer:

• Total remuneration valued to $142,635 - $168,287 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 - $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), OR $178,482 - $193,772 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $151,018 - $164,087 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
