About the role:

As the Director of the Centre for Education and Innovation (CEI), you will deliver high-level academic leadership and oversight to advance quality learning, teaching, and scholarship across the university. You will lead the ongoing transformation and enhancement of ACU's digital education offerings, ensuring they are innovative, contemporary, and aligned with university standards.

Working closely with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education and a diverse cohort of university stakeholders, partners, and other external digital leads to drive contemporary learning and teaching strategies and policies, to improve the quality of learning and teaching and enhance the student experience, engagement, and learning outcomes.

Working in partnership with the Education Portfolio Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the University's Education and Student Success Plan (ESSP), with a key focus on the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning and the overarching Learning Experience.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted and credible strategic advisor, who is able to influence and promote quality learning and teaching. This includes driving curriculum development and innovating in digital learning, all with the aim of fulfilling the university's mission and achieving organisational objectives.

This opportunity is only open to internal candidates and will be fixed term role until 31st December 2026.
