About the role:

Operating within the National School of Education, as the Student Recruitment Coordinator (APTT Program), you will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies targeting underrepresented potential student groups in specific regions across Queensland. Working closely with community stakeholders and cluster partners, you'll identify workforce shortages and promote teaching as a viable career option. You'll provide comprehensive information about the All Points to Teaching (APTT) Program, including entry pathways, course options and available support to broaden the pool of potential students. The Student Recruitment Coordinator will be required to travel across New South Wales and Queensland, including rural and regional areas. The position may also involve some evening and occasional weekend work, particularly during peak recruitment periods.

What we offer:

  • The University pursues an excellence agenda and offers an environment where staff are welcomed and safe, and valued through development, participation and involvement.
  • Total remuneration valued to $117,590 - $127,214 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $99,365 - $107,498 (pro rata) pa (HEW 7), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
