About the role:

ACU Melbourne is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Science to contribute to the academic and administrative activities of the National School of Behavioural and Health Sciences, with key responsibilities for the ongoing development and delivery of lecture, tutorial and laboratory material in core units of programs in the discipline of Science, in line with the school's national curricula. As Lecturer, you will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning at undergraduate levels and engage in the scholarship of teaching and learning in line with the faculty and the university.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate evidence of high-quality teaching experience at undergraduate level, specifically in Anatomy and Physiology and Pathophysiology. Pharmacology is desirable however not essential.

  • Total remuneration valued to $134,709 - $158,968 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $113,831 - $134,397 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
  • 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
  • Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
