About the role:
As the Facility Services Officer, you will deliver multi-skilled general duties to the campus community that focuses on streamlined customer service excellence by staff who are knowledgeable, flexible and hospitable. The position is a multi-purpose role involving a combination of general handyman (building repair), logistic support and minor administrational duties that will meet the need of the wider campus community. This role is a flexible operating role that is highly client focused that requires an incumbent with excellent communication skills, self-motivation and knowledge in how an efficient and effective facilities management department should operate.
More specifically the role entails:
- Event and room setup/pack downs on regular and booked timetables
- Supporting the campus Facilties Manager with the completion and co-ordination of maintenance tasks
- Co-ordinating and communicating the status of tasks and activities undertaken by the directorate

- Total remuneration valued to $83,043 - $89,834 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $70,173 - $75,911 (pro rata) pa (HEW 4), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
