About the Faculty of Health Sciences:

The Faculty of Health Sciences comprises three schools: Allied Health, Behavioural and Health Sciences and Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine. There are currently approximately 14,000 students (EFTSL) and 530 (FTE) staff in the faculty under the disciplines: occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, exercise science, exercise physiology, nutrition science, biomedical science, nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, physiotherapy, psychology and public health. About the National School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine:

The National School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine has the largest intake of nursing, midwifery and paramedicine students in Australia. The school comprises a team of highly motivated and dedicated academic and professional staff who have built a strong teaching and learning environment as evidenced by student demand, entry levels and student course evaluation over several years. The opportunity:

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Global and Education Pathways (GEP) portfolio to develop a detailed work plan and schedule for the execution of the LiveUrDream Campaign. The role will support the design and development of online evaluation mechanisms (e.g., surveys) to assess and measure the impact of the LiveUrDream Campaign on participants' familiarity and levels of confidence pre and post clinical placement. The Project Coordinator will manage other aspects of the campaign as required by the Project Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the content development and project coordination of the Liveurdream project with project tracking, developing and preparing report documents, follow on tasks post discussion, and coordinate relevant activities associated with the Project.
  • Undertake research and analysis to support the development of the Liveurdream project and ensure the use of project management methodologies and processes to allow for consistent high quality outcomes.
  • Manage and oversee particular aspects of the Liveurdream project and implementations, including developing, tracking and monitoring project plans, and coordinating resources to ensure successful project milestones are met.
  • Prepare a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including status updates, reports, and discussion papers to manage the flow of information.
  • Deliver on assigned tasks within agreed upon deadlines and quality standards.
  • Liaise and work with project lead and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the project.

You will need to have:

  • A relevant degree with demonstrated relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of demonstrated relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management coordination, administrative, organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven high level skills in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint to analyse and present data, and prepare and present professional reports and briefings and engaging material for school students and tertiary students if required.
  • Proven sound interpersonal and relationship management skills and the ability to interact with University staff across different levels and with external Equity Pathways stakeholders and clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of equity in higher education.
