About the register

Comcare maintains an Executive Level Temporary Employment Register to identify and engage skilled individuals for non-ongoing (temporary) positions across the agency. This register allows us to quickly connect with applicants who bring relevant experience and capability to support our work in Executive Level 1 and Executive Level 2 positions.

These positions are offered on a non-ongoing basis for a specified term of up to 18 months, depending on operational needs. Non-ongoing contracts may be issued for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the option to extend to a maximum of 18 months. Please note that non-ongoing contracts can only be extended once, regardless of the duration.

• Positions offered through this register are temporary only and do not lead to ongoing employment or promotion under the Public Service Act 1999.
• You may be contacted if a position arises that aligns with your skills, experience and availability.
• Registration on the register records your interest in working at Comcare. It does not guarantee a position becoming available or an offer of non-ongoing employment.
• Applications will remain active until Friday, 18 December 2026. After this date, you will need to reapply to be considered for future opportunities.

2. Click “Apply” at the bottom of the screen.
3. Indicate your interest in positions from Executive Level 1 to Executive Level 2.
4. Nominate your preferred work location/s. 
5. Select the areas of work that match your experience and interests.
6. Provide some basic personal details.
7. Upload an up-to-date resume.
