About the register

Comcare maintains a s26 Transfer, Temporary and/or Permanent Employment Register to identify and engage skilled individuals for temporary or permanent transfer opportunities across the agency. This register allows us to quickly connect with applicants who bring relevant experience and capability to support our work in a range of APS Level 2 to Executive Level 2 positions.

• Positions offered through this register may be temporary or permanent transfers. If a temporary opportunity is offered, it does not guarantee that a permanent postion will be made available.
• You may be contacted if a position arises that aligns with your skills, experience and availability.
• Registration on the register records your interest in working at Comcare. It does not guarantee a position becoming available or an offer of employment.
• Applications will remain active until Friday, 18 December 2026. After this date, you will need to reapply to be considered for future opportunities.

1. Be an Australian citizen.
2. Be a current ongoing APS/Commonwealth employee.
3. May be required to successfully undergo a character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
4. May be required to undergo a medical examination conducted by the agencies preferred medical supplier.
5. Be willing and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance to the appropriate level if applicable to the position.
6. Be able to provide proof of qualifications if applicable to the position.

4. Nominate your preferred work location/s.
5. Select the areas of work that match your experience and interests.
6. Provide some basic personal details.
7. Upload an up-to-date resume.
