Overview of the Role
The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support to the General Manager (and Directors) to assist and enable efficient and effective administrative support to achieve business outcomes.
The Executive Assistant will build and cultivate relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. They will professionally manage relationships with stakeholders, Senior Executive leaders, teams within the group, Executive Officers and Executive Assistants.
The Executive Assistant is required to work in a fast-paced environment often within rigid timelines and apply discretion and sensitivity when undertaking duties.
The Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the GM (and Directors) to meet Group and organisational priorities including secretariat duties for all Group Committees, working groups and external meetings.
The position exercises judgement, discretion and confidentiality in the management of information provided to the Executive, including diary and schedule coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
- Desirable: Experience and knowledge in administrative support and stakeholder management.
Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment
- Australian citizenship.
- Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
- Employee Health Declaration.
- Six months probationary period for new engagements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
