The Technology and Information Management (TAIM) team maintain Comcare’s Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) infrastructure and provide strategic leadership, governance, solutions, and advice for the effective management of information.
Overview of the Role
The Senior SharePoint Administrator will work within the Technology & Information Management Team to administer and aide in the governance of SharePoint Online and its associated technologies within Comcare. This role will help to maintain existing and deliver future Digital and ICT Strategies within Comcare.
This role will be responsible for the ongoing administration, technical operational support, and maintenance to the various Microsoft SharePoint environments. This will include providing Tier 2 & 3 administration and SME guidance relating to SharePoint and associated technologies (OneDrive, MS Teams, Purview, Power Platform etc.), Tier 2 support of approved developed solutions (within SharePoint Online), Tier 3 administration to the departments Intranet (ComNet) and Tier 3 administration of the records management platform (within SharePoint Online). The role will also require some additional business as usual duties including service delivery queue management, change management (for solution related changes), end-user training and health checks/reporting as required.
This role will be focused on driving technology change and problem solving for the organisation, whether it is a simple issue that enables a user to work faster or a solution that improves efficiency/productivity for a bigger team.
Qualifications and Experience
Mandatory:
- SharePoint Online Administration MS Certification.
- 2+ years' experience as a SharePoint administrator/M365 administrator role.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as Power BI, PowerShell, Office 365 and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of the SharePoint admin center, SharePoint and Power Automate workflows, and MS forms.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or similar.
- 2+ years’ working experience in an APS setting (preferably within a technology/records management role).
Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment
- Australian citizenship.
- Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
- Employee Health Declaration.
- Six months probationary period for new engagements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
