The Marketing and Communication team is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Comcare by developing and delivering external marketing and communications products, services, and messages. The team works collaboratively with internal clients from across the organisation to maximise stakeholder engagement with Comcare’s purpose and services.
Overview of the Role
The Assistant Director, Guidance Communication leads a small team responsible for creating and maintaining non-statutory guidance information. This includes researching, planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of guidance materials to enable Comcare to successfully inform the jurisdiction.
This role requires careful collaboration with other Comcare business areas including the Regulatory Operations Group (ROG), Scheme Management Group and Legal Group to produce targeted guidance that meets Comcare’s policy direction, is accurate and meets the standards set out in Comcare’s External communications policy.
Desirable Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations will be highly regarded.
Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment
- Australian citizenship.
- Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
- Employee Health Declaration.
- Six months probationary period for new engagements.
- Specific Conditions:
- Some interstate travel may be required, including overnight absences.
