Overview of the team and role

The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Comcare through developing and delivering all external marketing and communications products, services, and messages for Comcare. The team works collaboratively across the business and with clients to maximise stakeholder engagement with products and services.

The Senior Events Officer supports the Assistant Director, Event Management to deliver Comcare’s flagship biennial event, the Comcare National Conference, and the Comcare National Work Health and Safety Awards. The position also supports the planning and delivery of a range of other in-person and virtual events, workshops and forums for the Comcare scheme. This includes providing advice and guidance, technical support, industry and stakeholder engagement, venue and supplier liaison, administration and on-the day management of events.

Special Conditions

Some intra and interstate travel is required, including overnight absences.
