The Central Procurement Unit sits within the Finance and Assurance Team and is responsible for ensuring Comcare complies with Commonwealth Procurement Rules, Modern Slavery Act 2018 reporting and has effective contract management arrangements.

The Procurement Officer provides advice and support to Comcare’s Executive and internal stakeholder’s regarding procurement and contract management. Working in a small team, the Procurement Officer will support and facilitate Comcare’s procurements to ensure compliance with the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, Commonwealth Procurement Rules, Modern Slavery Act 2018 and support Comcare in achieving its outcomes.
