The Senior Claims Compliance and Assurance Officer works as part of a team that is responsible for promoting and supporting continuous improvement in the Claims Management Group by:

  • identifying potential non-compliance by compensation stakeholders, referral from Claim Management Group or data analytics
  • conducting proactive risk based internally focussed assurance activities 
  • working collaboratively across the Group and Comcare to ensure compliance issues and assurance activity outcomes are resolved quickly and effectively.

The Senior Compliance and Assurance Officer will oversee and undertake a range of assurance and compliance activities, such as audits and desktop reviews. It will also include preparation of reports, briefs and other documents.  The Senior Compliance and Assurance Officer reports to the Assistant Director, Claims Compliance and Assurance and will assist with supervision of other team members.
