WHS Inspectors undertake a range of WHS regulatory activities in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and procedures. The work includes:  WHS related prevention programs, campaigns, health and safety audits, stakeholder engagement, presentations, inspections and investigations across a wide range of industries and risk factors (physical and psychosocial).

Inspectors deliver timely, high quality services in a nationally consistent, regional service delivery environment.  The roles require working as a member of a team and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders including employers, workers, complainants, Health and Safety Representatives, employer associations, unions, and federal and state government agencies.
