The VLBI Team Lead is an EL1 position reporting to the Director for National Geodesy, responsible for leading Geoscience Australia’s VLBI geodetic work program in collaboration with the University of Tasmania and other national and international stakeholders. The role oversees the delivery of VLBI products and services to IVS standards, manages cloud-based correlation and analysis workflows, and ensures sustainable infrastructure operations. It also involves project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to promote the importance of VLBI to the global geodesy supply chain, while supporting the Director with broader operational and management activities.
