Haileybury is delighted to offer the opportunity to join our community as Head of Digital Learning, a significant whole school leadership role for an educator who believes deeply in the power of teaching, learning and technology. We are seeking someone who combines educational expertise with imagination and generosity of spirit; a leader who enjoys working alongside teachers, inspiring change, and building collective capability to improve learning for every student every day.
This appointment combines an ongoing teaching position with a five year tenured leadership role across the School. The role is supported by a significantly reduced teaching load, enabling a strong focus on leadership and impact. Regular travel between campuses is required, reflecting the whole school nature of the position. Home campus preference, teaching methodology, and allocation within the Junior, Middle or Senior School will be discussed at interview. The classroom teacher salary is complemented by a generous leadership allowance, recognising the scope and influence of the role.
Main Duties
We are looking for applications from brilliant teachers who will:
- Lead the digital learning strategy to enhance teaching, student learning, and engagement across all campuses and online environments;
- Lead and collaborate with our team of Digital Learning Leaders who represent and work closely with sub-schools, campuses and libraries;
- Champion effective digital pedagogy, supporting high-quality instructional design, blended and online learning, and positive user experiences;
- Manage and continuously improve whole school learning platforms, including the Learning Management System from Prep to Year 12;
- Build staff capability in digital learning through professional development and support for consistent, high-quality practice;
- Lead and promote digital innovation and improvement initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders;
- Contribute to external leadership and future-focused programs, including online learning initiatives, partnerships, and sector positioning;
