Haileybury is seeking a qualified and experienced VCE Systems Engineering Teacher to join our Senior School team at the Keysborough campus. This is a full-time ongoing position commencing January 2026. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and support students in their learning journey within a dynamic and innovative environment. 

Main Duties 

  • Curriculum Delivery and Pedagogy: Deliver the curriculum using Haileybury's Explicit Instruction model, ensuring best pedagogical practices while staying current with modern teaching methods and relevant frameworks. 
  • Collaboration and Relationships: Prioritise building positive relationships within the school community and collaborate with colleagues to develop blended learning resources and assessments. 
  • Assessment and Professional Development: Use varied assessment tasks to accurately measure student achievement, integrate digital learning tools into their practice, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.

  • Encourage collaboration amongst students and team members so we can create perseverance, critical thinking and creativity. 
  • Demonstrate a passion for learning and inquiry-based thinking. Encourage students to ask questions, explore topics independently, and pursue their interests beyond the classroom. 
  • Continuously develop your own expertise throughout the use of data, ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
