The Position:  

 

Due to the continued growth of the College, we are seeking a suitably qualified Grounds & Maintenance – Skills Trade person to join our Christ-centred community who will work at our Melton Campus.

The Grounds & Maintenance – Skilled Trade position will work under the direction of the Grounds & Maintenance Coordinators & Property Manager as part of the Maintenance Team who provide maintenance of the premises and grounds of Heathdale Christian College. 

Heathdale Christian College has Maintenance teams on both the Werribee and Melton Campuses.  The maintenance team are responsible for upholding the College grounds and facilities, ensuring student and staff safety. It is imperative that you are a team player and can attend to allocated tasks with a high level of fit and finish. 

 

Education and Experience: 

 

The suitable candidate will have:  

 

  • Require relevant industry-based experience and trade qualifications, for example Carpentry or Landscape    
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge 
  • Ability to work as part of a team 
  • Current WWCC ‘E’ 
  • Construction Induction White Card  
  • A current driver's license

  • Familiarise themselves and comply with the relevant College policies including Occupational Health and Safety.
