We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance and Payroll Officer to join the Heathdale Team.
Position Summary:
The Finance and Payroll Officer’s primary purpose is to ensure the financial operations and payroll processes of the College are managed effectively. This includes but is not limited to financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL entries/management, and management of the payroll processing system. All tasks should be performed in an effective and efficient way as required by the needs of the College.

To be successful in a position, we are seeking a Finance and Payroll Officer who has:
• Previous payroll experience of maintaining 200+ staff is preferred
• Payroll in a school environment is desirable
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Previous experience with a HRIS Aurion system is advantageous
• An understanding of Modern awards
• Meticulous attention to detail and deadline focused
• Ability to investigate issues and find solutions with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Finance qualifications – Degree/certificate in Finance or Business Studies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skillset
• Strong organisational skills
• Valid WWCC ‘E’ & Police Check
• Valid Covid19 Vaccinations
