Colo Outdoor Education Teacher / Educator
Fulltime Ongoing- commencing Term 1, 2025 or by mutual agreement
The College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Outdoor Education Teacher/Educator, with relevant qualifications (such as Cert IV, Diploma or University Degree), to work at the College's Colo Outdoor Education Centre (Colo Campus). This well-established centre is situated on 30 hectares bounded by the Colo River and the Wollemi National Park, with extensive facilities and equipment. The Colo campus is the base for the College's sequential Outdoor Education program for Years 7 - 9 and offers multiple program activities including adventure rope course, bushwalking, canoeing, mountain biking, orienteering and leadership programs for Year 11 students.
The successful applicant will have strong skills and proven teaching experience in several of the program activity areas. In addition, display commitment to the value of Outdoor Education, pastoral care, curriculum development, along with personal attributes to teach in a close-knit professional team and community.
