The Role

We are looking for a skilled Technology Officer Asset and GIS Applications to join our Council team and help drive innovation and efficiency in our Asset Management and GIS systems.

Reporting to the Principal Corporate Applications, this position will:
- Administer and support our GIS, Asset Management, and Customer Request Management systems, including databases, integrations, complex BI reporting, and software upgrades.
- Assist in continuous improvements and ensure reliable spatial data delivery to customers.
- Perform high-level database administration and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues.
- Provide expert advice and produce detailed corporate reports integrated with our IT environment.
- Conduct field surveys using GNSS and other tools to collect and verify spatial data, creating accurate maps and reports.

Mandatory Requirements to be successful in this position:
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management and/or Geographical Information Systems and/or extensive experience;
- Demonstrated experience in supporting Asset Management, Customer Request Management and Geographical Information Systems within a large enterprise application environment; and
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
