The Role

If so, this may be the opportunity for you! Council is currently seeking an experienced and committed casual Community Support Worker to join our Community Partnerships team.
Working out of the Community Centre in Yeppoon, this is your opportunity to join a passionate and engaged team dedicated to supporting the community and providing activities, resources, programs or events to a broad range of community members throughout our beautiful region.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a sound knowledge of community resources, activities and services available in the Livingstone Shire. If you have either qualifications OR experience volunteering or working in community service or business administration and you hold a current blue card as administered by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian, submit your application today!
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in community service or business administration AND/OR volunteer or work experience in community service and/or business administration; and
- Hold (or have the ability to acquire) a Queensland Working with Children Check, via the blue card system.
