Treatment Plant Operations Trainee - (Certificate III Water Industry Operations - 2 years)

Over the course of 2 years as a Treatment Plant Operations Trainee you will learn and develop a range of skills including being able to effectively monitor and ensure efficient operation of water and waste water (sewerage) treatment plant processes, that are compliant with regulatory, environmental and safety requirements.

You will work alongside experienced Treatment Plant Operators at Council’s water and wastewater (sewerage) treatment plants, pump stations and reservoirs. This role will see you working outdoors and across various locations within the Shire. 

Obtaining this qualification can lead to a rewarding career as a Treatment Plant Operator or other associated roles within the water industry.
