Help shape the future of your Community!
Do you want to make a difference in your community and help the decision makers know what’s really going on? Do you have hands on experience with road construction and maintenance and are good at talking with people and understanding their concerns? Are you able to simplify complex issues into jobs that can actually get done. Do you like a balance of office based work and being out on the roads/in the community?
In this role you’ll be speaking with a wide range of Council departments and people from all across the region, all with very different points of views and experiences. To succeed in the role you’ll need to be great with people and understand the technicalities about building and maintaining civil infrastructure.
In this role you’ll work with a team of likeminded people and be well supported both day to day and with future development. You’ll use a variety of cutting-edge technology supplemented by your experience and knowledge to understand the real issues facing Council’s civil assets. You’ll then work with a team to paint the full picture of what the road network needs and help put future work plans in place.
