The Role
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent Labourer to join our Urban Operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a progressive organisation, and contribute to the community you live in.
The successful candidate will undertake a wide range of labouring tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for the construction and maintenance of the Council’s infrastructure assets.
We are looking for candidates who have a positive safety mindset and can demonstrate attentiveness, alertness, cautiousness, are task focussed, and team orientated. It doesn’t matter what job you do at Council; safety is not negotiable.

Pre-employment Screening
Preferred candidates will be required to participate in and complete:
- A successful Functional Capacity Evaluation; and
- Be willing and able to be immunised against Hepatitis A&B and Tetanus.
Key criteria for you to be successful in this role:
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
