Casual Labourer – Construction and Maintenance (3673)

The Role

As a Casual Labourer, you will play an important part in the construction and maintenance of Council’s infrastructure assets. This hands on role involves supporting a multi skilled team across a variety of outdoor works. Your day could include tasks such as assisting with pipe laying, concreting, and general labouring duties, as well as operating small machinery, vehicles and hand tools. You’ll be expected to read and follow instructions, complete simple reports and carry out basic equipment inspections and maintenance.

Working collaboratively within a diverse team, you’ll contribute to delivering high quality outcomes for the community while upholding Council’s values, behaviours and commitment to safe work practices.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and 
  • Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle licence.
