Coordinator Urban Operations 

Permanent Full-Time | QLGIA (Stream A) Level 7

Location: Yeppoon | Reports to: Manager Construction and Maintenance

We’re seeking a proactive and skilled Coordinator Urban Operations to lead the delivery of a diverse range of civil construction and maintenance projects that directly support our community. About the Role: 

As the Coordinator Urban Operations, you will:

  • Lead the planning, management and delivery of civil construction and maintenance programs.
  • Oversee end to end project delivery, including estimating, procurement, construction supervision and as constructed documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, WHS requirements and quality assurance standards.
  • Apply strong project management methodology to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
  • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and the community.
  • Champion Council’s Values, ensure a safe work environment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and extensive relevant industry experience;  
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain;  
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams; 
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction across roads, stormwater, water & sewer networks, and related infrastructure; and
  • White Card and current C Class Driver Licence.
