The Role

Are you a trade qualified Mechanic and want to live and work in the beautiful Livingstone Shire? 

Council is seeking an experienced and trade qualified Mechanic. This position supports Council’s direction by undertaking repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of Council vehicles, plant and machinery in a professional manner both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Recognised trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanic/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic; and

Possess and maintain a current “HR” Class motor vehicle driver’s licence.

Salary – $72,343 per annum (QLGIA (Stream C) Level C8);

$5,000 attraction payment upon successful completion of probationary period;
