Truck Driver/ Labourer (3046) – Permanent Full Time 

Experienced HC Driver Wanted – Help Build and Maintain Our Community

Are you an experienced Truck Driver who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in delivering quality infrastructure outcomes? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Truck Driver/Labourer to join our Rural Operations team, helping construct and maintain the essential infrastructure our community relies on every day.

About the Role

As a key member of our multi-disciplined Rural Operations team, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of truck driving and labouring duties associated with the construction and maintenance of Council's infrastructure assets. The role includes operating Council trucks, low loaders and trailers, carrying out basic servicing and maintenance, as well as undertaking labouring activities and general civil construction works.

This is a hands-on position where your skills and experience will directly contribute to maintaining safe, reliable and resilient infrastructure across the Livingstone region. What We’re Looking For 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A current and maintained Heavy Combination (HC) Class Driver Licence; 
  • Proven experience and capability to safely operate low loader and semi-tipper trailers; 
  • The ability to obtain loading, unloading and restraining plant competencies; and
  • Construction Industry Induction (White Card).
