The Role
Join our dynamic Information and Technology Services team as a Technology Officer - Applications and play a vital role in shaping and supporting the technology landscape that powers Council’s operations. Reporting to the Coordinator Information Communication and Technology, you will provide expert support, maintenance, and development of business application systems is critical to Council’s strategic objectives.
Your leadership in Business application solution design, systems administration, integration development and advanced technical problem-solving will ensure timely, reliable, and secure delivery of services aligned with agreed service levels.
As a key contributor, you will foster strong collaboration across departments for a skilled professional to manage and optimise our core systems, including TechnologyOne, Infor Pathway, Aurion, and Conquest Asset Management. This role is critical in ensuring these systems operate efficiently, comply with legislative requirements, and support high-quality service delivery.

Mandatory Requirements to be successful in this position:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and/or extensive experience supporting complex business applications within a large enterprise environment;
- Microsoft Certification or other relevant industry training;
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Applications, which may include Azure, Office365, Fabric, PowerBI etc; and
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.

- Annual Salary between $109,341 and $113,211 (QLGIA Stream A - Level 5, inclusive of an above award payment), depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
