About the role

Are you someone who thrives on turning plans into action and making a real impact in your community?  We’re looking for a motivated and solutions-focused individual to join our team and help deliver Council’s largest contract - the Civil Infrastructure Services (CIS) contract.

This role is all about keeping our city running smoothly.  You’ll be involved in everything from contract administration and audits to customer service and data analysis, supporting the maintenance and renewal of vital infrastructure across the city.

You’ll be working closely with a range of people - Council staff, service providers, customers, and external organisations, so strong communication skills are a must.  If you’re passionate about customer service, love digging into data, and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to your work, we’d love to hear from you.

What your experience might look like

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to utilise computer systems including databases, spreadsheets and word processing software and analyse data
  • The ability to liaise with service providers and influence mutually beneficial outcomesemonstrated ability to monitor contract performance and to assist with contract administration

Desirable:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Associate Diploma or Certificate qualification in a related field or relevant experience to an equivalent standard.
