About This Role:  

  • Fixed-Term (Duration of Term 4 2026) 
  • Full-time 
  • Teaching Geography and History (7-10) 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons across Years 7-10
  • Contribute to curriculum design and assessment practices within the Humanities Faculty 
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to engage diverse learners 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programs and promote excellence in English 
  • Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life 

About You:  

  • Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or can gain VIT registration. Teaching graduates are encouraged to apply.  
  • Deep understanding of curriculum requirements and best practice teaching strategies 
  • Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
  • Enthusiastic about introducing innovative, student-centred teaching methods that inspire and engage 
  • Collaborative and creative mindset, committed to enhancing learning programs and student outcomes
