About this Role:

  • Subject areas: Science (Years 7 - 10), VCE Biology

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Plan and deliver engaging Science and Biology lessons.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and assessment practices within the Science Faculty
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and digital tools to engage diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance programs and promote excellence in Science
  • Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life

About You:  

  • Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. 
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Science across Secondary year levels and VCE
  • Proven competence with use of technology in a learning environment 
  • Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues 
  • Enthusiastic about introducing innovative, student-centred teaching methods that inspire and engage 
  • Collaborative and creative mindset, committed to enhancing learning programs and student outcomes
