About this Role:

  • Ongoing, Full time
  • Commencing Term 3 2026, or by negotiation
  • Teaching Health and Physical Education Y7-12 with additional methods (such as Science or Maths) highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that foster student growth and wellbeing
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and assessment tools to support diverse learning needs and maximise student outcomes
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and innovation within the HPE and wider team
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress Actively promote student participation in sport, health, and wellbeing programs
  • Uphold MGGS’s commitment to child safety in all aspects of teaching and school life

About You:

  • Hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Expertise in HPE curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment practices
  • Additional methods or VCE experience will be highly regarded
  • Skilled at building meaningful, respectful relationships with students and colleagues
  • Passionate about student wellbeing and inspiring healthy, active lifestyles
  • Proficient in using digital tools (including LMS and multimedia programs) to enhance teaching and learning
