We are looking for a Collection Project Coordinator who has experience in arts administration and project coordination in the cultural sector. The Collection Project Coordinator will ensure the Hume Collection Relocation project is communicated effectively and efficiently via comprehensive and thorough data administration and timely stakeholder engagement.

Home to the most valuable collection of art in Australia, the national collection comprises over 155,000 works of art, including the world’s largest collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art. This position will collate data and coordinate the logistics of a large-scale collection relocation. The position will drive critical communication to ensure the Hume Collection Relocation and Capital Works project initiatives are met while balancing the operational requirements of the NGA Artistic program.

This position of Collection Project Coordinator is a non-ongoing, full-time role within the Artistic Programs Portfolio and reports to the Head of Strategic Collection Projects within a specialised project team
