The personal information which we collect and hold about you will only be used for the exercise of the Museum's employer powers or the employer powers of another agency head (e.g. transferring pay details to another department in the event of a temporary transfer), the exercise of a power or function of the Australian Public Service Commissioner or the Merit Protection Commission or the functions of an Independent Selection Advisory Committee.  If we do not collect this information, we will not be able to exercise our employer powers.

We may disclose your personal information to external providers contracted to deliver services on behalf of the Museum (e.g. a career coach, a learning and development provider, a rehabilitation provider).  We will not otherwise disclose your personal information to anyone unless you consent, or we are required or authorised by law (including the Privacy Act 1988) to do so.
