Suncare Domestic Assistant/Cleaner - what's involved in the role?

We are currently seeking several Part Time (40 hours per fortnight) Domestic Assistants / Cleaners to provide support to our customers in the Brisbane region and surrounding areas between Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.  

The role of a Suncare Domestic Assistant/Cleaner actively supports the individual needs of frail, aged and people with a disability who are living at home, either independently or with family. Examples of your duties could include assisting with meal preparation, bed making, ironing, cleaning the bathroom and toilet, vacuuming and mopping of floors, wiping kitchen surfaces and laundry duties. 

About you:

You will have demonstrated experience in cleaning and experience working in Aged Care is preferable but not mandatory. We want our customers to have a great experience with our people, and our people need to have a great attitude, be friendly, willing to learn new things, and most importantly listen and understand what the customer wants. We require flexibility to attend shifts with minimal notice and have the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. 

For this position you will be required to be physically fit, have an open Queensland Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. You will be also required to possess a First Aid and CPR Certificate (we will provide paid training to acquire these certifcates),  Yellow Card (paid for by Suncare and processed as part of the onboarding process) and a National Police Check.
