The Role 

We have an exciting permanent full-time Senior Advisor, Educator Capability (Educational Practice) position available to join our Educational Quality and Capability team at TAFE Queensland’s Bracken Ridge Campus.

As a Senior Advisor, Educator Capability (Educational Practice), you will: 

• Work as a member of the Educator Capability Team to nurture a culture of innovation, creativity and contemporary learning, teaching and assessment practices within the business. 
• Enhance student engagement and maximise student outcomes by providing educators with training and support to assist them to integrate innovated and effective learning and teaching methodologies and technologies into their practice in a range of learning environments (including, online, on campus and in the workplace) for diverse student cohorts. 
• Contribute to new learning and teaching programs and ensure existing programs represent the most current and effective forms of learning, teaching and assessment practice. 
• Mentor and support new educators including Foundation Educators. 

Salary

The salary range for a Senior Advisor, Educator Capability (Educational Practice) is $124,693.75 - $133,172.77 (gross) per annum plus superannuation contributions of 12.75% of your salary.

Highly Desirable

 Candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:

• Possession of Tertiary qualifications and extensive experience teaching in a tertiary environment. 
• TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development (or their equivalent) or a higher VET qualification.
