Key responsibilities

  • Deliver outcome-focused vocational education and training (VET) programs aligned with national training package requirements
  • Lead effective teaching and learning across classroom, workplace, simulated and online environments
  • Design, develop and implement industry-aligned assessment tools and practices
  • Use flexible, blended and inclusive learning approaches to support diverse student cohorts
  • Maintain currency with industry practices, teaching methodologies and educational technologies
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback and support learning outcomes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance activities
  • Promote safe work practices, sustainability and positive learning environments
  • Build effective relationships with students, staff, industry and stakeholders

Mandatory Qualifications and/or Requirements

  • CPC32420 / CPC40920 Certificate III & Certificate IV Plumbing/Drainage/Gas Fitting, or equivalent.
  • TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Experience in the Plumbing industry

Highly desirable

  • Digital literacy skills across various software and databases
  • Current Gas Fitters License
  • Current EWP ticket
